Beauty Haul

Hello my fabulous readers! It has been long overdue. I know I have been MIA for some time. I have tried my best to get out of this funk I have been in when it has come to doing my beauty posts . To be completely honest with all of the commotion happening in the beauty community lately, I have been so unmotivated and discouraged to even post. I have had some obstacles in my personal life as well and have not been making the time to do the things I love. I have allowed excuses and just my day to day get in the way of my happiness and I am making a point of getting back into the swing of things. I always told myself that even if were only one person that read my blog gained something, I was successful in my goal and would motivate me to continue. I understand I am far from a popular beauty page and do not have a massive following like some of the others , but to completely honest wasn’t ever my intention to get to that point. I have to remind myself the reason I started this page in the first place. I enjoy all things beauty and skincare and why not share it with the world? I appreciate all of you and the sweet messages you have sent asking me where I was and if I was still blogging.

There is still a whole lot of things I need to do to my page and I have no clue where to begin so I just ask for your patience as I learn this platform and fix things . In the mean time wanted to share some of my recent beauty faves with you guys.

As we all know its already the end of September and in case you haven’t been on any social media lately, all the holiday beauty items are beginning to flood our feed and hurt our wallets lol. I have my eye on a few beauties but in the meantime these have been my go to Items for the past month.

Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder

This has been my go to after setting my foundation. I also love the Maybelline Fit me Matte Poreless Foundation for my everyday. It does not stick to any dry patches and leaves such a beautiful finish. The only downside for me is the packaging. It can be a bit cumbersome and bulky for travel. If it wasn’t for that I would give it a 5 out 5. It is affordable and easily accessible in most beauty stores

Cover FX Custom Blot Drops

These have been my go to drops in the summer. In the scorching heat, I have been able to save my face to an extend from melting off completely. You can use these alone, over or under your makeup. Personally I put it on before my primer and I concentrate on my T-zone since that is where my trouble area is. Think of it as a built in blotting paper. It will absorb oil and keep you mattified throughout the day.

Becca Pressed Powder Foundation

This little guy comes in a cute little pouch and is great to just toss in my purse on the go. Its a powder foundation that can be used as a setting powder, highlighting, or contouring. To be completely honest I only use it to touch up if needed throughout the day and have not utilized it to highlight. You may be one of the lucky few that can snag this gem at your local TJ Maxx or Marshalls since they always have awesome beauty finds at discounted prices. I absolutely love the highlighters from Becca and was surprised when I stumbled upon this awesome setting powder.

Mac Mineralized Blush in shade Gentle

So of course as any beauty junkie when you find yourself inside of a Mac store and have an arm full of swatches and they all start to take over your mind and scream that they must go home with you, I ended up grabbing this beauty some time ago. I am not huge on shimmer blushes and I like to keep my blushes matte for the most part. This was just the perfect shade or purply pink with a hint of shimmer that just had to be part of my collection.

Makeup Forever 5 Camouflage Cream Concealer Palette

I am a concealaholic There. I said it. I have a drawer of concealer on concealer and well I am always trying out new ones depending on the coverage that I need. I was looking for something that gave me variety. I like that this palette has a salmon shade and other correcting shades for redness . I have serious panda circles and well sometimes I need something a little more heavy duty. This is great for makeup artist and their kits, travel or if you need that extra pick me up when you are looking drained.

Stila Glitter and Glow Duo Chrome

These Stila eye chromes are absolutely stunning.Whenever I wear them , it grabs peoples attention and I am always asked what I am wearing on my eyes. I tend to wear more shimmery and chrome like colors on my lids and what better than something that can last all day? They are so versatile and easy to work with. Aside from the glitters my two faves at the moment are Sea Siren and Sunset Cove. They give you that mermaid look without looking over the top and super fun and you want to had some pop to your eyes.

Above I have mentioned some of the items that stood out to me this past month. I didn’t go into detail about each and every Item, however I loved them all. Let me know what kind of posts you guys would love to see. I assure you I will get back into the swing of things now that my work schedule has changed a   bit. You can always find me on social media !
