Hello there beauties I know it has been a very long time. I have missed you all so much and promised myself that this year I would do my very best to get back into what I love doing and letting you all in on what is new and awesome in the beauty world. I hope everyone has had a wonderful New year thus far. I know for myself I have so many resolutions to get through this year and here I am making one of my things on the list come true. I will be working with a web designer soon and there won’t be too many changes to the site, however there are some tweaks and organizing that need to take place to get my blog platform to where I would like it to be. I still have so much to learn about wordpress and am making it a point of taking the time to learn it all.
Sneak Peek of the Glam room…
I will most definitely update you guys on my room and organizing etc once I fully settle. Unfortunately work and well if in general can tend to consume a lot of my time and have to make it a point of allowing myself some time to keep in touch with all my beauties.
Here are some goodies I have come across in the past month or so that I will be testing and giving my thoughts on:
I have always been a true fan of Nyx Cosmetics and love how many different options there are for those that maybe cant splurge on a trip to Sephora . I was super intrigued by these Custom Blend Foundations. My only gripe was the shape options available at my local Ulta. Unfortunately I had to get 2 different bottles so that I can customize my shade to my liking. There are 24 shades on the website and retails for $14. A bit steep for drugstore, however it claims to give you a customized shade option and build able coverage. Sort of reminds me of the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops from Sephora , however that retails for $44 and may not be so affordable for the struggling artist.
Next are the NYX Faux Whites Eye brightener great for the inner corners or on the waterline for a different look. I will say in just watching them , they are buttery smooth and glide on so easily. These retail for $8 and come in 8 different shades.
Now I have to say 2016 seemed to be the year of all that is rainbow and holographic. I was so excited to see these because I have been wanting to get my hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Palette for some time and just haven’t gotten around to doing so. So while I was Ulta, I spotted the Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder and well it was love at first swipe! They are all os unique and as stated great for the highest points of the cheek, cupids bow, and bridge of the nose.
Ok so the next item I stumbled upon on Amazon a while ago and I am more of an in person kind of shopper so I wasn’t sure if I was going to like these so I passed. I was at Face Values in my area and Saw the awesome display of L’oreal Infallible Paints Eyeshadows. You can also find them directly on the Loreal website. Now if you have used there infallible shadows in the little square jar you know these are some awesome products. I myself lean more towards pigments and metallic shaded because I love the color payoff and just the over all look. I don’t however like how messy the process can be, so when I saw these I said its the best of both worlds. They retail for around $8.99 and come in 12 different shades. Are dual ended and awesome again to wear allover the lid or just ad some color to your lower lash line.
I hope that you guys all have an amazing 2017! I am working on making a schedule to post and please feel free to let me know what you would like to see! In the mean time you can find me on most Social Platforms!
Hope you all enjoyed and stay tuned for more posts headed your way!
Love and Lipgloss!
